October 13, 2009 - Restore and Not Destroy
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we pray
that all is well with you. In order to live the God kind of life we
must follow the word in its totality. God said if you love me keep my
commandments, which simply means follow my word. Galatians 6:1 says, brethren, if any man be overtaken in a
fault, ye which are spiritual restore such an one in the spirit of
meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Notice
the bible says to restore not to destroy. Why do we in the Kingdom kill
our wounded, instead of helping to restore them back to the place they
were in before they were overtaken in a fault? Maybe it’s because
those that are spiritual don’t follow the amplified version of
this scripture which says for the word spiritual (who are responsive to
and controlled by the spirit). If we are responsive to and controlled
by the Spirit of God, we will restore and not destroy. We will do it in
a spirit of meekness, and we will consider our self, believing that
someone will do the same for us if we’re overtaken in a fault. If
we walk in the light we must let our light shine in every area of our
life. While knowledge of God’s word is vitally important, people
don’t care how much word you know, but rather how much word you
live.
Continue to live the abundant life daily,
