Pastor Tyronne Porter (Pastor T) has been teaching the uncompromising word of God for over 13 years. The beauty of his transformation is that he came to God with a teachable spirit, and without a ‘church’ history, whereby allowing him to accept God at His word when he was saved in 1993.
 
    Much to his dismay, he soon discovered that many of God’s people were living beneath their privileges as believers; too busy looking up to ‘them’ (others) and not to Him for direction. He began to seek the Lord on the matter and to his surprise the Lord would call him to take a stand. Having said yes to the Lord, he now teaches practical principles of empowerment that produce godly results—giving God all the glory all of the time!  
 
    Pastor T as he is affectionately known, is a man truly after God’s own heart. He purposely positions himself as a servant, eager to serve the people planted within the fellowship because he understands that servanthood starts from the pulpit to the pew and not the other way around.

    Pastor Starla Porter is an exceptional teacher in her own right. Unlike Pastor T, she was well acquainted having been raised as a young child in the church; however, she never truly gave her heart to the Lord. She straddled the fence for a long time; club hopped, in and out of unhealthy relationships, making foolish turns in her life—then God! It wasn’t until the early 90’s that her courtship with the Father truly began, and in September of 1996 she said yes to the Lord, and accepted the call on her life. Today she’s a minister of the gospel, a certified training instructor, and a successful business owner (www.zlpi.us). She and Pastor T have been happily married for 21 years with three beautiful daughters and a lovely granddaughter as fruit of their union.

    Since their ordination in November 2008, they have witnessed a great move of God within their ministry. With total dependence and reliance on Him, they trust that every move that’s being made is one purposed by the Father in order that His glory would be revealed through their lives, work and ministry. Sometimes the strategy of the Lord is not clear, yet they have come to understand His maneuvers necessary in order for them to live freely in Him and according to His plans and not man’s. They continue to remain passionate about the work of the ministry, and inspired by the endless possibilities as they willingly display God’s unconditional love to whoever will receive it. It is the simplicity of salvation, His love, grace, and mercy that they believe many are rejecting without realizing it; choosing instead to knowingly remain entangled in bondage, hindering the anointing of God from truly flowing within their lives at an even greater level.

Together, their hearts desire is to see all people come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and discover all that that truly means; in Him there is abundance and fullness until it overflows, living the Zoe Life as it should be everyday!
